A re-branding of East PoS can be achieved partly through a revamping of the public realm that residents and visitors use every day. A public realm that is inviting, beautiful, and functional, may then become vibrant and a source of individual and communal pride and sense of ownership.

Create new public spaces that can attract visitors to East PoS and provide increased recreational opportunities for residents, with priority given to projects in the IPAs. Key initiatives include:

Short Term: 1-3 Years

Commission an East Dry River Linear Park Feasibility Study (see Investment Prospectus Project One)

  • The development of a linear park along the East Dry River has been studied over the years. The transformation of urban waterways is proving to be a tool for economic development and the re-imagining of underutilised public spaces
Short Term: 1-3 Years / Medium Term: 4-6 Years

Brian Lara Promenade Extension (see Investment Prospectus Project Two)
Eastern Main Road, Triangle Park (see Investment Prospectus Project Five)
