The guiding geographic and physical principles are the approaches to the development of East PoS, inspired by the vision statement, that specifically shape the natural and built environment, or have particular locational implications.
Thematic Areas
The approach to bring about the physical, social, and economic transformation of the East Port of Spain Metropolitan District is multi-pronged and can be characterised into four thematic areas.
Each thematic area is then further broken down into two major goals.
Each goal consists of one or more strategies, comprised of short, medium, and long-term action steps.
